Instagram's latest update includes a music sticker for DMs, enabling users to share 30-second music clips in private conversations. This feature, which is part of Instagram's ongoing collaboration with Spotify, provides a quick and easy way to share music with friends without requiring them to listen to an entire song. This new capability complements Instagram's existing music integration features, which allow users to add songs to their profiles and save music directly from Instagram to Spotify.

Step 1: Open Instagram DMs

Select the person you want to message.

Step 2: Access the Music Sticker

Tap the sticker button on Instagram in the chatbox.

Choose "Music Sticker on Instagram" from the options.

Step 3: Choose a Song

Search for the desired song on Instagram.

Tap your desired song to preview it.
Instagram will generate a 30-second snippet—perfect for a quick listen!

Step 4: Send the Music Snippet

Tap “Send” to share the song in your Instagram DM.

The recipient can listen to the snippet directly in Instagram messages.
