Who is Raleigh Keegan?

I'm a country artist now in Nashville. I play keys, guitar, and sing about songs that mostly come from a really personal place.

When and why did you start playing?

I started playing when I was about 7. My parents found a free piano in Michigan so we traveled 8 hours in a mini-van and put this upright piano in the back of it and came back home. I played at first because my parents weren't going to go through that much effort for me not to play haha!

What are your fondest musical memories?

One that sticks out is my Dad singing James Taylor songs to me and my brother to help us go to sleep at night when we were kids. Another had to be my debut performance at the Bluebird in Nashville, TN. There's a magic to that place you have to experience to understand.

How did you discover Playlist Push?

An artist friend who had success with you all told me about you.

Take us through where your career was before using Playlist Push

I was hustling and grinding all on my own trying to get playlists to add my songs.

How has Playlist Push contributed to your growth as an artist?

You all have been a consistent and reliable way for curators to get ahold of my music. There are so many fake playlists out there, but it has helped because I know you all have vetted your curators.

Do you have any advice for first-time users of Playlist Push?

Some songs just simply work better than others. The truth is as artists, we don't know what song is going to hit. That's why I do campaigns for almost every song.

What makes your music special?

Honestly, it is just me. I put myself into my music, and I have my own unique tastes, preferences, and influences. If any artist follows their gut, that's what should happen.

What song best represents you, or your attitude to life?

Currently I'd have to say my newest single "New To Nashville". It's about the highs and sometimes brutal lows of chasing a musical career in Nashville.

If you can have your fans remember one thing about you, what would it be?

I want them to remember that I was different from others they listened to. That there was something unique about my take to country music.
